It’s always a bit exciting coming into NYC. We sailed through the traffic despite the rain. We’ve been doing this for awhile, at least once a year for the last 40 years or more (65 for John). Dunno, something about crossing the GWB and the energy changes. It was a refreshing 52 degrees.
I love Ooma’s apartment – a funky top floor apartment on Center Avenue. A creeky old elevator lined with cherry wood, a balcony from which you can see the street below and the skyline of NYC.
John shampooed her carpets one day. We went to the Senior Center for lunch one day.
The dogwood were still in bloom.
I was able to get one photo of the barber shop down the street. It is much better at night when you can see inside. Typical New Rochelle street scene.
We ate out a lot … and we ran into Albert at the 5:30 pm Mass at Blessed Sacrament!
